James Ash serves as the President for the Bermuda Operations of »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿. He provides strategic leadership and run the day-to-day operations of »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿'s Bermuda entities, ensuring alignment with both regulatory expectations and the broader goals of the consolidated enterprise.
James is also part of the Structured Finance Department at »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ , where he oversees the capital management of the various »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ operating company subsidiaries and the management of the affiliated reinsurance programs. Prior to that, James contributed to the Valuation Department at »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿, where he held the role of Appointed Actuary for »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ Americas Reinsurance Company, Ltd., »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ (Barbados), Ltd., »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ Atlantic Reinsurance Company, Ltd., Manor Reinsurance, Ltd., and Reinsurance Company of Missouri, Incorporated.
James has been at »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ since 1996, with valuation experience across all main product lines. James received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Actuarial Science from Maryville University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
