Greg Goodfliesh is former Vice President, »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿X, the global business innovation accelerator of Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (»»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿). Greg is based both in Hong Kong and in California’s (U.S.) Silicon Valley, providing »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿X with local conduits to cutting-edge digital developments.
Prior to his current appointment, Greg served as Managing Director, »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿X Asia. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿â€™s Asia Innovation team. Previously, he served concurrently as head of business development for »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ Japan as well as the Global Financial Solutions lead for »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿â€™s Asia Pacific region, and before then, as Director of Business Development for »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ Australia, where he was an integral member of the team that enabled »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ to become the largest life reinsurer in Australia.
Before moving to Australia in 2004, Greg was a Vice President and Actuary in »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿â€™s Global Financial Solutions unit, and was based in »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿â€™s St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. He was responsible for the pricing, structuring, evaluation and monitoring of all asset-intensive transactions reinsured by »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿. Prior to joining »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ in 1997, he was with American Express, where he was responsible for the pricing, cash flow testing, and asset liability management of several product lines.
Greg is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in statistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
