Fernando Ballesteros Almendro is Chief Pricing Actuary, Spain and Portugal, for »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ International Reinsurance Company dac, Sucursal en España. Named to this role in March 2024, Fernando leads pricing activity, product development, and risk management and control initiatives. 

Since joining »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿ in 2009, Fernando has worked in the pricing department, and was promoted to Senior Pricing Actuary in 2017.

In 2015, Fernando earned Global Management of Risks in Insurance Companies Certification (GREA®) from Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB). He holds bachelor’s degrees in Economy and Business Administration from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and is a member of the Spanish Institute of Actuaries since 2009.
